STAUFF SFK series filter elements certified for use in the marine and offshore industries
Reliable filter technology for demanding environments
In September 2025, the internationally recognised classification society DNV (Det Norske Veritas) successfully certified an extensive range of replacement filter elements from the STAUFF SFK series for use in the marine and offshore industry.
The approval covers both screw-in and plug-in cartridges in stainless steel and plastic versions, which are used in single, double and automatic filters. The certified filter elements are developed and manufactured in Germany and are used, for example, in the pre-filtration of fuels in industrial engines of numerous well-known manufacturers worldwide.
The elements are also suitable for applications with hydraulic and lubricating oils, cooling lubricants, chemicals and water.
By issuing the Type Approval Certificate, DNV confirms the conformity of the products with the strict requirements for use in demanding maritime environments - further proof of the high quality and reliability of STAUFF solutions.
