We are supporting the Werdohl branch of the DLRG with a donation of 3,500 euros
Ceremonial handover with Lutze Menshen
The STAUFF Group has supported the local DLRG group in Werdohl with a donation totalling 3,500 euros. On behalf of the company, Lutz Menshen, Managing Partner of the STAUFF Group and LUKAD Holding, presented the amount to the dedicated rescue workers.
The donation has enabled the purchase, preparation and equipping of a special rescue trailer. This serves as a mobile "toolbox" for operations in flowing waters and during floods. It is used when people in rivers, streams or flooded areas are in danger or need to be evacuated.
Recognition for the work of the DLRG
The new trailer complements the equipment of the neighbouring DLRG local groups in Plettenberg and Lüdenscheid. Together, the three groups currently have around 20 trained river rescuers who can provide fast and professional assistance in an emergency.
At the official handover of the trailer keys, Lutz Menshen emphasised:
"I think this commitment is really worthy of recognition. What you are doing here is for the general public."
STAUFF's donation underlines its commitment to the region and recognises the important voluntary work of the DLRG.
