We are continuing to invest in the future of our site in Meinerzhagen: in recent months, we have commissioned several new multi-spindle lathes at the STAUFF Group's Voswinkel plant in Meinerzhagen. These highly efficient systems make a significant contribution to making our production processes more resource-friendly and energy-efficient. The investment was supported by funding from the ‘Module 3 - Energy Management Systems’ programme of the Federal Office of Economics and Export Control (BAFA). Each machine was subsidised with a five-figure sum.

The advice and support provided by the Economic and Structural Development Agency of the Märkischer Kreis (Gesellschaft zur Wirtschafts- und Strukturförderung im Märkischen Kreis GWS) was an important success factor here. ‘We are delighted that our support has made a concrete contribution to the implementation here,’ emphasised GWS Managing Director Jochen Schröder during District Administrator Marco Voge's visit to the plant. For him, the investments are a strong signal for the future viability of the site.

We are also setting new standards in the area of sustainability: a modern chip processing system enables the return and recycling of metal residues. This enables us to process up to 30 tonnes of raw material per day - an active contribution to environmental protection and the economic efficiency of our processes.

Planning with foresight

We have been cooperating closely with the energy efficiency agency for many years in order to continuously optimise our production. District Administrator Marco Voge recognised our commitment during his visit: ‘The Meinerzhagen site is a showcase project for the successful combination of tradition, innovation and sustainability.’

As the STAUFF Group, we are proud to have our roots in the region and at the same time to be successful worldwide as an international supplier of hydraulic and pipework components and systems. Investments such as these not only ensure our competitiveness, but also strengthen the industrial structure of the Märkischer Kreis region.
