Changes to the Management Team at STAUFF Germany
Jörg Sturm takes over from Helmut Ahrens as Chief Executive Officer
On 1 April 2026, Jörg Sturm will take over from Helmut Ahrens as Chief Executive Officer of STAUFF Germany.
Helmut Ahrens will be leaving the company later this year to take his well-deserved retirement.
Carsten Krenz will, of course, remain a member of the management board in his role as Technical General Manager.
About Jörg Sturm, Helmut Ahrens and Carsten Krenz
Jörg Sturm is a in electrical engineering and electronics, studied business administration, and has many years of management and sales experience in the fluid power sector. He has been working for STAUFF Germany since January 2026. He took on the role of Chief Executive Officer in April 2026.
Graduate economist Helmut Ahrens has been working for the STAUFF Group in different leadership roles Germany and abroad since 1999, including several years as Managing Director in China and Asia. In 2023, Helmut Ahrens was appointed Chief Executive Officer of STAUFF Germany.
Carsten Krenz is a graduate engineer in the field of production engineering and can look back on several decades of relevant professional and leadership experience in the areas of production and logistics. He has been working for STAUFF Germany since 2012, initially as a plant manager, since 2015 as member of the general management.
