We are standardising our measuring hose assemblies to pin pricked hose (SGS)
We have gradually standardised the STAUFF Test product range entirely on SGS pin pricked hose. This type of hose has already been used as standard for several years - now the consistent standardisation of the entire product range is following. Following the announcement by email in November 2025, we have now converted our SMS type measuring hose to SGS hose type. Now the assembled hose lines will follow by mid-June.
One hose for liquid and gaseous media
SGS pin pricked hoses were originally developed for gas applications. The targeted perforation of the hose jacket allows gases to escape in a controlled manner, reducing the risk of uncontrolled accumulations. At the same time, the hose can be used without restriction for liquid media.
