STAUFF India opens new production facility in Belagavi

Expansion of manufacturing capacity for hydraulic components supports further growth in the region

STAUFF India has officially commenced operations at a new production site in the AEQUS Special Economic Zone (SEZ) in Hattargi, near Belagavi, in the state of Karnataka. With this investment, the company is expanding its manufacturing capacity for hydraulic components and underlining the long-term importance of the Indian market within the international STAUFF Group.

Official opening on 9 September

The official opening took place on 9 September 2026 in the presence of representatives from the STAUFF Group and regional guests. The new site marks an important step in the further development of STAUFF India’s operations and lays the foundation for even stronger local production and customer supply.

Guests of honour at the event included Jörg Deutz, Chief Executive Officer of the LUKAD Group; Boris Melikyan, Executive Director of Strategy and CFO of the STAUFF Group; Carsten Krenz, General Manager of Production at STAUFF Germany; and Bipin Chirmure, CEO and Managing Director of STAUFF India. Together, they officially opened the new site and highlighted its significance for the company’s future development in the region.

By expanding its manufacturing capacity, STAUFF is strengthening its local value creation in India and creating further conditions to support customers even more efficiently in one of the hydraulics industry’s most dynamic markets. At the same time, the region benefits from further investment in modern production facilities and a long-term outlook for sustainable growth.
