Successful relocation: STAUFF Ireland moves into new premises in Lisburn
Modern production and office space creates the basis for greater efficiency, additional capacity and growth
Targeted concept for the requirements
STAUFF Ireland has successfully moved into a new, purpose-built facility in Lisburn - creating more capacity, greater efficiency and improved conditions for customers and employees.
After more than 15 years of operating from two separate, rented sites, the move marks an important milestone. The new facility was specifically designed to support future growth, optimise processes and create a modern working environment.
More space for increased efficiency
The project began more than two years ago with the search for a suitable site, followed by the planning and construction of the new facility. The aim was to expand the existing capacities, increase operational efficiency and at the same time sustainably improve the working conditions for the team. With the successful completion of the project, all activities are now bundled under one roof.
The new facility offers significantly more space for production and administration. Production now takes place in a modern production hall with an area of around 2,000 m², supplemented by around 550 m² of office space on two levels. Storage capacity has also been significantly expanded: the number of pallet bays has almost doubled - from 450 to 850, resulting in additional flexibility and improved availability for customers.
Clear focus on the benefits for employees
A key advantage of the new site is the optimised production processes. While the previous premises were restricted by structural conditions, the new facility could be planned from the ground up. In hose production in particular, this enables a significantly more efficient material flow as well as greater process stability and reaction speed.
The relocation also brings noticeable improvements for the employees. More space, better lighting conditions and an overall more modern working environment contribute to a more pleasant working atmosphere. In addition, a new canteen has been created to provide space for breaks and informal dialogue.
The successful relocation is the result of close co-operation between STAUFF UK Ltd. and STAUFF Ireland under the leadership of Ken Cleal, Assistant Managing Director STAUFF UK Ltd. and Ryan McBride, General Manager STAUFF Ireland.
With the new facility in Lisburn, STAUFF Ireland is ideally positioned to serve its customers even more efficiently in the future and realise further sustainable growth.
