Meeting at VDM Metals in January 2026
STAUFF has been part of the regional sustainability network "Team Sustainability MK" since January 2026 .
Founded by the Gesellschaft zur Wirtschafts- und Strukturförderung im Märkischen Kreis (GWS MK) and the Effizienzagentur NRW, the network brings together large companies from the region to regularly discuss current sustainability issues and learn from each other.
Advancing sustainability together
With our involvement in the network, we are strengthening our regional cooperation in the area of sustainability. Participating companies include Vossloh Fastening Systems, Otto Fuchs, Medice, Schlüter Systems, VDM Metals, Phoenix Feinbau and HJS. Together, we develop ideas and discuss practical solutions for a more sustainable industry in the Märkischer Kreis.
Meeting at VDM Metals
On 29 January, we took part in a meeting for the first time, which was held at VDM Metals in Werdohl.
The focus was on the VSME reporting standard, a practice-orientated approach to sustainability reporting, presented by the consulting firm Grubengold from Bochum.
VDM Metals also presented a series of measures that have already been implemented - including an increasing proportion of recycled material, modern sorting processes and established management systems. These insights show how regional industrial companies can live sustainable transformation together.

We summarise our measures in the area of sustainability under STAUFF Impact. Participation in this network helps us to utilise regional best practices, promote innovation and consistently expand our activities.
