Special Multi Coupling Systems

Special couplings within the STAUFF multi-coupler range enable multi-couplings to be specifically adapted to applications that go beyond standardised solutions. They are based on the tried-and-tested STAUFF MCS Multi Coupling System and are tailored specifically to customer-specific requirements in terms of design, function and integration.

5-way multi-couplings consist of a fixed coupling half on the machine side and a detachable coupling half on the attachment. Both halves incorporate 5 hydraulic coupling inserts and a precisely fitted mechanism for accommodating an electrical plug.

During the coupling process, all hydraulic lines are connected simultaneously. At the same time, the electrical connector is inserted into the designated interface. The system is securely locked in place using an ergonomic hand lever. Tool-free operation and the vibration-resistant locking mechanism ensure a reliable connection during operation.

Like standard multi-couplings, special couplings also enable the simultaneous, low-leakage connection of several hydraulic lines in a single coupling operation. Integration into the STAUFF MCS Multi Coupling System ensures that all lines are connected synchronously and locked reliably.

Additional requirements can be accommodated through customisation. These include, for example, limited installation space, specific ergonomic requirements for operation, or the combination of hydraulic and electrical interfaces. Integration into existing systems and changeover devices can also be implemented as required.
