Series HSN made out of Carbon Steel

The QRC-HSN series quick-release couplings are robust screw-to-connect couplings with poppet valve on both sides for demanding high-pressure and high-pulse applications. They were developed for applications where maximum reliability, high flow rates and secure connection technology are required - for example in construction, mining and in mobile and stationary hydraulic systems.
The design of the series is based on the proven QRC-HS series, but has undergone extensive technical development and improvement.

Thanks to a flow-optimised valve design, reduced pressure losses and a durable zinc/nickel surface, the QRC-HSN series offers a level of performance that increases the efficiency of hydraulic attachments and at the same time increases their availability for use.

The coupling series includes nominal widths from DN 06 (¼ inch) to DN 38 (1½ inch) and therefore covers a wide range of applications.
All variants are:

• Fully compatible with ISO 14541-compliant couplings (DN 06 to DN 19)

• Downward compatible with the previous QRC-HS series

• Can be combined without restrictions (sockets and plugs)

This makes it easy to modernise existing systems without having to convert the hydraulic systems or maintain different interface types in parallel.

The QRC-HSN series offers a range of practical enhancements:

• Optimised valve geometry for higher flow capacity and reduced pressure losses

• Highly resistant zinc/nickel surface for longer service life

• Laser labelling for fast, clear identification including QR code with forwarding to the STAUFF online shop

• External safety O-ring as assembly control

• Optionally available sleeves with hexagon and holes for Fokker needles or spring pins

• Colour marking rings to avoid incorrect connections
